Letter from our Guild President:
Sewing Sisters,
Wasn't Patience Griffin wonderful? I so enjoyed hearing about her experiences and the things that she learned in her quilting community. I have adopted her galloping horse philosophy! This month, Janice Tower and Pat Beeler will be presenting a program on Finishing our Quilts. I'm sure we'll learn a lot from these accomplished quilters.
I'd like to thank Debbie Piekarski and all who have assisted in selling raffle tickets and promoting our raffle quilt. It looks like we will sell out of tickets - 3,000 of them - at the Alley Sale at Happiness is Quilting this Saturday. Congratulations! It will be exciting to see who will win this beautiful quilt.
Please let Debbie P. know if you have any tickets that you will not sell so that we can add them to our pool for this weekend.
At Tuesday's meeting we will unveil the 2017/2018 Raffle quilt and name the new board slate for your consideration.
What to bring:
Please bring all tickets, stubs and money to Tuesday's meeting. If you are going to the Retreat this weekend, Kathy will be happy to collect your money there.
Pillowcases - please bring your completed pillowcases to the meeting so that we can turn them in to Happiness is Quilting. Thank you for your work on these items.
Community Service Quilts - Please bring all completed lap quilts, baby blankets, fidget quilts etc.
March Block of the Month
Show and Tell items
See you Tuesday night!
Love you to pieces,
Elizabeth
