October 2015 was full of fun and games and treats. Plus Old Time Saturday is always a good time.

September 2015 is National Sewing Month. Well with that said lets sew...

Did you know September is National Sewing month???

The observance of National Sewing Month began in 1982 with a proclamation from President Ronald Reagan declaring September as National Sewing Month "In recognition of the importance of home sewing to our Nation"


Sewing is what Guild Members did...



September meeting had some special guest

Hinton Home representatives, Debbie and Anthony & grandson were presented with 84 bibs made my the Guild members.
Hinton Home donated the money for the bibs which was donated in memory of L.M. Polser. Thank you Polser family.


Community service donation for August was to 'All Heart Veterinary Center'

The Guild made and donated over 50 quilts.  Making quilts for doggy's is so fun.

Community Sew day

Community Sew day was making 84 bibs for Hinton Home.
Community sew days are the 2nd & 4th Thursday of the month at Civic Center 10am-3pm

P.s. all the binding was donated by a retired quilter. The money for the bibs was donated by a 
 patients family of Hinton Home.
