It's hot, sunny and school is about to start. That's not the only thing that happens in the month of August. It also means it's time to make service quilts for the Hinton Home residents. This year we sewed all day at the Church of Christ annex. The nice thing about the day was the result. At least ten quilt tops were finished and more were taken home to finish. Bonnie brought a simple pattern that makes a wonderful lap quilt. It took very little time to sew and was great looking when done. Of course there was the usual pot luck lunch and lots of munchies to sustain us through the day.
