While going through the posted guild blogs I noticed that I had inadvertently left out last November's meeting. So before you take a look at the next few months let's have a look at a really fun night.
Marsha presented the program/workshop on a technique called Snippets. The guild was given a list of fabric requirements for making a Snippet wreath for the holidays. After measuring and cutting a background fabric we were ready to begin. Several colors of fabrics were ironed onto "steam-a-seam" and we started snipping away at the wreath fabrics. Greens and some blues, then maybe a few reds, and on it went until the shape and colors looked right. At the end of the meeting there were some very nice wreaths taking shape. It was a fun and easy way to begin the holiday season.
