July Sparkles With Joann Cross

"If you don't get at least one new tip tonight, I will refund what you paid double or triple, when I leave," Joann exclaimed!
The guild was treated to some wonderful quilts and excellent quilt tips at the July meeting. Joann Cross presented each quilt she displayed with a story, tip or technique. Her quilts are fun, colorful and perfectly made. We loved her sense of humor and everyone went away with something new that they had learned. Some of the things she showed were; unique uses for bias strips in quilts,  making a curving  triangle, using Sudoku as a quilt pattern, using a double needle to sew on bias in stained glass quilts, trying a 36 degree triangle ruler to complete a 360 degree circle and a great technique for cutting curves in boarders. At the end of her program she asked, "Does anyone want their money back?" The answer was a loud NO!
