At the TAQG meeting on May 30 we made a decision about the Rally Day Thursday and Friday workshops (July 6 & 7).  Since the workshops have not filled we are offering a discount if someone takes both.  The first workshop is regular price ($55) and the second is $40.  This is a 27.25%  discount on the second class.  The kit fees are not discounted and may be paid directly to Cynthia in class.  If anyone has already signed up for one workshop they can sign up for the other one at $40.00.  Also, if anyone has already signed up for both workshops at full price please have them contact Sherry Worley, Katrina Lindley or Belva Gibson.  Please make your guild members aware of this offer.  We really do need to fill as many of these workshop spaces as possible.  This is the first time classes have ever been discounted by TAQG and we do not expect to do so in the future.

Thanks for your help,
Sherry

Any questions please contact Elizabeth or Kathy

6/19/2018
Karen presented QOV to Mr. Brown today. He was supposed to be at Audie Murphy day to get the oldest
quilt but fell an broke his hip. Karen found him in rehab at Greenville hospital.
Karen presented him with the QOV she had just finished.
What an honor. He cried, he didn't think he would get one.
                                                                     He was so grateful.

Karen woke Mr. Brown. It took him a minute but he woke and understood.

Karen just told Mr. Brown that she was presenting him with a
Quilt of Valor.
He was so touched it brought him to tears. He said he didn't think he world receive one.

Look how honored he is. Karen was so compassionate with him and gave him
a BIG hug.

Lynn presented Mr. Ronald Frasher A QOV with is his wife in Duncanville, TX.

I wish we had taped him, he told us his navy war stories,
how interesting he is. He is amazing. He is a true hero.
Then he Saluted us.

Guild members I can't come up with the right words to explain how wonderful being there was today.
My heart is so full.
Thank you Karen for honoring Mr. Brown today you did good.
