Hi ladies,
It's time to get started again. Yeppie !

FVQG THURSDAY DAY COMMUNITY SEW 
August 5th, 2021
10am-3pm
Civic center
201 Orange st.

Farmersville.

-We will be doing fidget quilts  !!!!
We have all the supplies.
We want to supply all rehabs in all our communities.  If you know of one we can add to the list.

Bring your own sewing supplies (machine. Etc.)
You can bring your own community projects
There will be quilts kits for Project Linus & Rockwall abuse project.
Bring your lunch ( Ice maker is working but not sure about frig).

Also I'm doing a new roster, any changes PLEASE get to me asap, thx
If you haven't paid dues ($25) please let me know.
Would be helpful if you replied back that you are/not staying in the Guild. Thx

Good Morning Sewing Friends,

July Meeting Agenda

1. Postpone the Saturday July 17 QOV Community Service Day
2, Update from Barb on QOV Service Day moved to Aug 21, 2021 9am to 4 pm
3. Special Thanks for QOV donations 
4. Special Thank you for Community Service Last year for QOV and Mask making 
5. Update on Raffle quilt from Sherri Gray
6. Looking for committee members to join Elizabeth on the Barn Quilt Project to get back up and running next month when she returns from                vacation.
    Also looking for help with Social Media, assist with the Blog and Raffle quilt sales starting in the fall.
7. Introduce the Block of the Month
8. L0gging Volunteer hours extra raffle tickets 

Program Presentation will be Ann on Hawaiian Quilt Applique  

Attached also in a nice note from one of our quilt recipients who wished to make a $25 donation to our mission.  I have placed this donation in the QOV donation line item of the budget.
Lastly, the Common Threads Quilt Guild of Gainesville has sent us two tickets for their quilt show, July 30th & 31st.   These will be included in the door prize drawing at the July meeting.

Hello Guild Members,
So happy to be getting back to some kind of new normal.  We will get there:)

Well here's some things ya might want to know.

   We are going to start up Thursday community sew days again.  They are on the 1st Thursday of the month.
Next one is August 5th
Thursday 
10am-3pm
Civic Center
201 Orange st
Farmersville
-Bring a lunch (everything you might need)
-Ice maker works but still don't know about the frig
-Bring your own sewing machine & supplies/cords.
We are going to be starting on fidget quilts (again). So funnnnnn!!!
We have everything we need to make them.
If you have a community service project you are working on bring it.
There are also quilt kits made up that you can sew there or take home. Or you can make more kits but that's next month I'm still doing fabric organizing.
This is more about fellowship while do something good for the community so hope to see y'all soon ;)
  
And second I JR aka Debi am the new membership chair again (my fav job).
We have been collecting dues at the last 2 meetings and I an happy to say we have 25 members paid. You get a cool pin this year with pd dues ;)
So calling all members this is an 
MEMBERSHIP ROUND UPšŸŽ
Members please let me know what your plans are.  If you would reply to me that would be great . We have a few new members & will be contacting you soon.  I will be doing a new roster in August so you don't want to miis getting on it plz.
You can always mail dues to me or if your techy you can paypal me.
