February is Quilt of Valor Foundations biggest national sew day in history and we are so proud to be a part of it.
Hello Ladies!
The Farmersville Quilt Guild is registered with the Quilt of Valor Foundation to be a part of one of the biggest national sew days in history and we are so proud to be a part of it.
We are so excited that we get to be a part of something so awesome!! Elizabeth has gone above and beyond the call of duty and has arranged for the Boy Scouts to come in and do a flag ceremony and the City of Farmersville is preparing a Proclamation. What a wonderful way to commemorate this event. Thank you Elizabeth.
Please bring your sewing machines and be ready to make a quilt for a very deserving QOV recipient. You need to have a pattern picked out so you will be ready to cut and sew quickly. Fabric will be provided. If you would like to cut fabric before the 6th just give Lynn a call and I would be happy for you to come over and pick out your fabrics and cut.
We will be meeting at 9:00 AM at the OE Carlisle Civic Center on Saturday, February 6, 2016. Lunch will be potluck.
If you have questions please leave a message on blog and we will respond. Would like to get a head count of who is participating, please email Lynn.
Those of you who signed up and paid to become a member of QOV, I got that list and you should have received an email confirming your membership. If you did not, please let me know.
