August 2023 in the BAG

This is Becky Medlock. She was a past Guild Member.
She has passed but this month was her birthday and this pic popped up.
If you knew Becky you were lucky, she was a hoot!

Gayle made this adorable community service quilt.
The Guld had The cream blocks for years.
She embroidered cuteness on each block
And Guild members made the squares.

Subject: FVQG July meeting
Hello!
I hope you all had a wonderful Fourth of July!! It's great to be able to celebrate the freedoms we have.

As some of you may already know, Lynn's husband Kelly had a stroke. He seems to be recovering and I'm sure they will welcome more prayers and love sent their way.

This month's meeting is going to be special. We have Pam Pollard coming with a trunk show and will teach us how to cut bias binding on a square. She will also show us arched quilt edges.
Take a look at last month's minutes and treasurer's report. We wlll be voting to accept them at the meeting.
We hope to see you there!
