Christmas 2012

Snowmen was chosen as the theme for a frosty Guild Christmas party. Marsha was the chairman and with Jackie, Donna and Ann they planned an evening of fun. Jackie decorated the tables with plenty of smiling snowmen. She even made snowmen place holders, created from ornaments, for everyone. Marsha and Donna made sock snowmen for each of the members as a keepsake. The food was pot luck and delicious with plenty of turkey,  ham and all the fixings. Monica outdid herself with fabulous cheescakes. After dinner Ann read the story about Mrs. Right as gifts were traded around in the direction of the words left and right. At the end of the story everyone had a different gift to open. The last event was the ornament exchange. Each person brought a handmade ornament to exchange. Numbers were found at each place on the table. When your number came up you could choose a gift or go and steal one from someone else. There were so many beautiful ornaments. Door prizes, the December block of the Month and Sew and Tell were also part of the evening.
