Tea Party Hat contest

Barb was the judge of the best hat contest, here's what she wrote up about the hat contest at Retreat.

The following ladies deserve big kudos for participating in the Hat Contest at our Retreat this month.

Peggy, Lesa, Pat, Susan, Pie, JR, Donna and Sherri. The hats were all wonderful and different; As were all with the stories that went with them. Everything from “I recycled my hat from Last year’s retreat, to It was my “Grandmothers Flapper Hat to which I added my own artistic flavor”. We learned that JR is a Hello Kitty Fan, Pie and Sherri Like to shop on Amazon. Pat enlighten us to know just how easy it is to make a “fascinator”. This year’s winner was Lesa with a hat she embellished with all of her mother’s brooches/Pins, perfect for a Tea or to wear to a ball game with that Texas bling.
